Jordan Downs —
Jordan Downs are some Section 8 Housing Apartments located on the low-end of Los Santos, the project was founded in the mid '50's by Mark Washington and Matthew Dickinson as they thought it would be the perfect place to raise a family and live the so called American dream. The area was kept predominantly Caucasian that was until the early '60's when numbers of all coloured ethnicities started spiking. With the project being flooded, various groups started forming under certain monikers under no specific ethnicity. These groups preformed ignorant or malicious activities such as throwing rocks, stealing from local corner shops, fighting with BB guns, etc. These young teenagers all attended the same school, they all went through the same struggles like people of colour do. In the '80's cocaine was in full swing, a substance known as crack rock landed in the streets of Los Santos and the city saw nothing but hell. The war over cocaine was hectic, various dealers from certain groups were posted up on corners feeding the addictions of young kids, pregnant women, etc. Violence ranging from street fights to shootings were a popular thing in Los Santos due to crack rock, many groups developed into violent street gangs making Los Santos a frantic place for citizens to live in.Mafia Crips —
The Mafia Crips are a significant criminal organization that emerged in South Los Angeles (previously known as South Central), California, and consists of various renowned individuals, predominantly African-American street gangs. The Mafia Crips are present throughout Los Angeles County, including South Central, Watts, Long Beach, and Pomona.The Mafia Crips have four gangs in the Watts section of Los Angeles, including the Blue Gate Mafia Crips and the Beach Town Mafia Crips. These two gangs have formed an alliance known as the "Blue Gate Beach Town" or "Blue Town Mafia Crips." Under the Mafia Crips, the Fudge Town Mafia Crips and the 99 Mafia Crips are two of Watts' most well-known street gangs.
99 Watts Mafia Crips —
The 99 Watts Mafia Crip (99WMC) also known as the 9'ers, which are an active African-American street gang located on the East Side in the Watts district of South Los Angeles, California. They originated in the 1980's, around 99th Street and Success Ave, between Compton Ave and Central Ave.The 99 Watts Mafia Crips are known to sport yellow or gold, along with the traditional colour blue worn by members of the Crips. They also falls under the Mafia Crips umbrella.
The Fudge Town Mafia Crips and the Blue Gate Mafia Crips, as well as the Main Street Mafia Crips, are allies of the 99 Watts Mafia Crips. The PJ Watts Crips and the Nut Hood Watts Crips are two other associates. The Hat Gang Watts Crips and the Krazy Mexican Town, a Latino gang, are their biggest opponents. Bounty Hunter Bloods, Circle City Pirus, Be-Bop Watts Bishop Bloods, Grape Street Crips, and the 8-Tray Gangster Crips are among the other competitors.
OOC Information —This faction aims to portray the real life gang 99 Watts Mafia Crip. If you'd like to develop your character within the faction there is a few things you have to complete. You must have good English considering our standards are high, you must be at-least a little bit educated on the LA gang life. Your character must also start off by being 13-15 as we encourage our members to develop their characters with certain attributes and characteristics you must start from the bottom and work your way up. You must also provide character kill permissions for the faction character kill your character for any reason necessary. We do not tolerate any trolling or rule breaking and any signs of this behaviour will get you removed from the faction by leadership. The faction mainly involves American role-players that role-play during our peak hours ((5PM EST - 8PM EST)) however you may see us on at any time. If you are in-game you'll probably catch us on anyway. Joining our Discord communications is important since you'll be able to notify other role-players when you're in game.
