Block Six (Grove Street Gangstas)

Block Six is a gang made up of a variety of races, which formed when a group of friends became a clique that wanted to earn money and help each other out. The clique of friends began getting into the drug business when they saw how profitable it was, and eventually they formed into a gang. Most Block Six members came from less wealthier backgrounds, and they all understood each other. As time went on, they started reputation for the amount of drugs that were being sold by them, and eventually one of the members had been captured and interrogated by the Chicago Police Department, causing the group to disassociate and freeze in activity in an attempt to cover up their tracks. Block Six stems from two friends that met each other in high school, Von Williamson and Jay Willams. Both were notorious for having constant quarrels with law enforcement, which led to the imprisonment of Rico Bishop. Fast forward a few years, Von Williamson is released from prison and reunited with Jay Willams. They began living with each other in the same apartment, they went on to save enough money to buy a storage unit on Grove street, where they would begin to live. The pair eventually met a group of people at apartments, and they discovered that this group went to the same high school as them. The pair and the group formed a friend group, consisting of Jay Willams, Von Williamson, Savon York, Trevon Mills, and a few others. Fast forward to the present, Block Six is currently seen operating on Bedford Avenue, and is still actively participating in many drug trades, as well as bringing residents into their group. Residents of the Bedford Avenue claim to have heard many quote on quote "meetings" in front of the storage unit. It is currently presumed that many members of Block Six are very religious, and the religion in question is currently unknown.
